If you plan to visit India don't forget to visit Mumbai, the city where Bollywood is situated. You would have certainly heard about Hindi Movies that are full of romance and actions. Bollywood, originally intended to be a joke after Hollywood, became the biggest producer in film industry and releases around 900 movies every year. If you want to see the films in the making you can go and visit Film City which is situated near the Sanjay Gandhi National Park. This Park also is a very important place for animal lovers also having a taste of seeing archaic scenes. This Park attracts thousands of visitors everyday and you can choose to go there by a Taxi or a Bus.

Travelling in the city is difficult as it is the second most populous city of the world after Shanghai. Train is a better option as it number of Mumbai Suburban trains are very high. It is always crowded and you don't have to put any effort if you want to enter a particular coach. The crowd will pull you towards it. There are lots of local stations inside the city and you will love going from one station to station. But beware of pick pockets, and touts. And if you hate being in large number of crowds then taxis and ferries are a better option.

Coming back to the National Park there you can find 2400 years Kanheri Caves which has been sculpted out on rock cliff. Coming back from there you can go to Chowpatti beach or Juhu beach. There you will find the real India. People flocking around, some selling, some buying, some exhibiting. Children making noise and Vendors giving you the taste of India: Bhelpuri, Pav Bhaji, pani puri. You will all love this but no one can give you any guarantee about your stomach. You can eat these things in hotels nearby. You can also view the beautiful Arabian Sea staying in hotels nearby the sea. In the morning you can go to Marine Drive, a natural bay six lane wide. Gateway of India is an important historical monument to visit when you come to Mumbai City.

If you want some spiritual experience you can go to temples and mosques which you will find all around Mumbai. But special one to mention are Haji Ali Dargah and Sidhi Vinayaka Temple. Beggars on the way will show you the poverty and you can give them alms though this would not make them give up as they will always come back in the street. Sidhi Vinayaka Temple is a Ganapathi Temple for which Mumbai is famous. Elephant Caves are also an important place to visit that too in the Elephant festival, a festival of dance and music. It is 600 years old and full of Hindu gods and goddesses.

You can also experience roller coaster rides and adventure themes. It is near the Gorai beach which also you can see on the way.

You can stay in cheap or very expensive five starts hotels like Ramada Plaza Palm Grove, The Retreat, Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach, Godwin etc.
