MIDEAST ISRAEL RENAISSANCE MASTERPIECE
An ancient Hebrew manuscript with illuminations made by master Italian artists from the late 1400s is presented to the media after its restoration at a paper laboratory at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, Thursday, April 22, 2010. The manuscript dates from the late 1400s, and is a copy of an important work of Jewish law written by a medieval philosopher three centuries earlier.
